The people have spoken, and the fall PNW Oppo Meet will be on the weekend of September 7th & 8th. Mark your calendars!

I’m about to go to the woods for the week, so I’ll be completely off Oppo until Saturday. Once I return, I’ll begin planning possible day trips. I’ve only got vague ideas right now of “a drive involving State Route 47" and “something in the Gorge”; if you have any ideas yourself, leave them in the comments.

Another drive option is the back road down to Detroit lake from Estacada. It's a favorite for motorcycles, which automatically means it's a great driving road. Then head west to silver falls and up to Silverton from there, for almost no highway driving.

We’re pretty sure we’ll be there. It means that we’ll be in hotels for every weekend of September...but so be it.

I think we're going to maybe stay in the Boise neighborhood in an Airbnb. Unless that takes us too far from the group

Hood River Or to Trout Lake Wa to Glenwood Wa to Goldendale Wa ( awesome section of road) to sr14 to Vancouver Wa. The section of 14 with the tunnels is in many car commercials most recently Ford pickups.
